Liverpool Liverpool Branch meets at 8pm on last Thursday of each month at Dr Duncan's pub in central Liverpool, close to Liverpool Lime Street station and Queen's Square. Regular updates about activities are posted in the branch forum on First Class Macclesfield Macclesfield OU Student Association - MOUSA We meet on the second Tuesday of the month at the Premier Inn hotel Springwood Park (which used to be known as The Middlewood), Springwood Way, Tytherington, Macclesfield, Cheshire. SK10 2XA. Look for the OUSA sign on a table at the far right of the venue. There are plenty of parking spaces and the venue is wheelchair accessible. Contact is Wendy Moss. Manchester North East Lancs Northwich Northwich branch meet monthly at the Kingfisher, Kingsmead at 8pm on the second Wednesday of each month. Contact: Carol Taylor. Oldham Contact is Terry O'Dwyer. Ormskirk Preston Rochdale Meets last Thursday of the month, 8pm, The Beach, Hollingworth Lake, contact is Gill Kilshaw, tel 01706 852851. Southport Southport Branch meets socially on the first Tuesday of each month at 8pm in the Wetherspoons pub on Lord Street, Southport, PR8 1RH. St Helens Stockport & Cheadle Our branch meets on the 2nd Thursday of every month at The Railway, 74-76 Wellington Road North Stockport, SK4 1HF - We will probably be on the left side of the pub and should have an OUSA sign on the table so we should be easy to spot. The Railway is easy waking distance for the town centre and is on the A6 heading north (towards Manchester) from the town centre, and is opposite George's Road. For a map please go to www.tinyurl.com/ousastockport The pub has disabled access from the side entrance on Wyatt Street, however you will have to phone the pub before hand to ensure this entrance is unlocked (0161 477 5644). The meetings are friendly and tend to be very informal, mostly consisting of socialising. For business meetings the online component will take place in the sub-forum "Online Meetings Stockport&Cheadle" and will run the week before the face-to-face. All are welcome, and if you want extra reassurance that we’ll be there beforehand, then get in touch with one of the Branch Officers or look on FirstClass for an announcement beforehand. Extra Meetings Our group generally has an extra meeting near the end of the month, which is a purely social affair. These are generally take place on either the last Thusday or the last Saturday of the month and are arranged at our face-to-face meetings - the best way to find out about them is to request our email updates by sending a message to ousa.stockport@googlemail.com. We welcome suggestions for outings. We also have a quiz team in the Blue Bell, Levenshulme every Tuesday, 9pm.
